The Glastonbury Marine Corps League Patrol
The Peter P. Monaco Chapter of the Marine Corps League in Glastonbury, CT was organized in February, 1957. The slate of officers elected were installed at Pulaski Hall on February 27, 1957.
The League was deeded the Addison School for $1.00 by the Town of Glastonbury in March of 1957 as their headquarters. Several residents objected to this sale, but after a second town meeting the deed was confirmed. Part of the reasoning was "veterans organizations always develop the community and build better citizens and the Peter Monaco organization may even decide to sponsor a little league baseball team at some future date."
